Egypt audience context

The market is large. The useful benchmark is how efficiently you reach the right part of it.

Egypt’s platform audiences are substantial, but reach does not equal demand, and cheap impressions do not guarantee profitable customers. The right cost target depends on sector, objective, audience, offer, creative, landing page and sales follow-up.

Cost evidence

What public Egypt advertising benchmarks can—and cannot—tell you.

Platforms run live auctions, so there is no permanent national CPC or CPL. Public figures are useful as planning signals only when their source, period, objective and limitations are disclosed.

Budget model

Turn media metrics into a business scenario.

Enter your own assumptions. The model connects budget, CPM, click-through rate, landing-page conversion and close rate so you can see why one cheap metric never tells the whole story.

1

Start with auction cost

CPM estimates reach. CTR turns impressions into visits. Together they determine the modeled CPC.

2

Add conversion quality

Landing-page conversion creates leads. Sales close rate decides whether those leads become customers.

3

Connect revenue

Average revenue per sale converts acquisition performance into modeled ROAS.

4

Replace assumptions

Use actual platform, CRM and sales data before making a final budget decision.

Metric selection

Benchmark the outcome each channel is supposed to create.

A campaign can have an excellent CPM and still lose money. Select the metric closest to the commercial result, then use earlier funnel metrics to diagnose performance.

Methodology

How to build a benchmark your finance and marketing teams can trust.

Define the cohort

Separate platform, objective, sector, country, language, audience temperature and conversion event.

Use enough time

Compare at least 60–90 days where possible and annotate Ramadan, sales periods and major creative changes.

Join CRM outcomes

Connect ad clicks and leads to qualified opportunities, sales, revenue and repeat value.

Use medians and ranges

Avoid one blended average. Show median, lower and upper quartiles, sample size and data period.

Planned Digitology dataset

The strongest future version of this report should use anonymized Digitology campaign data with client permission, minimum sample thresholds, sector cohorts and quarterly updates. Until that dataset is approved, this page intentionally labels third-party ranges and does not present them as Digitology results.

FAQ

Egypt advertising cost questions

Direct answers, with the limits that responsible budgeting requires.

How much do Meta Ads cost in Egypt?

One public 2025–2026 source reports directional Egypt ranges of USD 0.50–2 CPM, USD 0.10–0.50 CPC and USD 2–8 CPL. These figures are not independently audited by Digitology and should be replaced with account-, objective- and sector-specific data before making a final budget decision.

How much does Google Ads cost in Egypt?

There is no reliable universal CPC for Google Ads in Egypt. Cost changes by keyword, match type, location, device, competition, Quality Score and date. Build a forecast from the exact keyword set and location, then compare it with actual search-term and conversion data.

What is a good cost per lead in Egypt?

A good CPL is one that produces profitable qualified customers. Start with gross profit, target acquisition cost and sales close rate, then calculate the maximum CPL the business can afford. A cheaper unqualified lead may be worse than a more expensive lead that closes.

How much should an Egyptian business spend on digital ads?

The budget should be large enough to test the intended audience, creative and conversion path without exceeding the company’s acceptable acquisition risk. Use the calculator on this page for a scenario, then validate the assumptions with platform forecasts and a controlled campaign.

Why do CPM, CPC and CPL change during Ramadan?

Seasonal competition, audience behavior, inventory, creative fatigue, offers and buying patterns change during Ramadan and other major periods. Seasonal results should be benchmarked against comparable seasonal periods rather than ordinary months.

Can Digitology benchmark an existing account?

Yes. A useful review should separate platforms and objectives, validate tracking, inspect creative and landing pages, and connect leads with CRM and sales outcomes. The result is an account-specific benchmark rather than a generic market average.

Stop comparing your account with a number that ignores your business.

Digitology can benchmark your campaigns against their real objective, diagnose the gap between clicks and revenue, and map the next test around qualified growth.
